eStudy supports refugees who participate in online courses in preparation for studying in Germany at our partner Kiron Open Higher Education (www.Kiron.ngo). Mentoring takes place completely digitally via video chat on our learning platform. The sessions are accompanied by specially prepared learning materials and help you to structure the sessions. During enrollment you will receive preparation training. The program includes up to 10 sessions one hour each. A program start is possible at any time.

This is how it works!

1. Registration
First, you register on our page, where you create your mentor profile. There you tell us more about you and what you expect from a mentoring. This will help us find a suitable mentee for you later on.

2. Training
In a one hour webinar, we prepare you for your role as a mentor and explain to you how the program is structured, how you use the platform and with what kind of eLearning materials we provide you with.

3. Mentoring
The program consists of 10 sessions, where after an introductory phase, your mentee and you will work together on eLearning methods, before you then end the program with discussing your mentee’s academic as well as professional goals.

4. Certification
Finally, your mentee and you receive a certificate, confirming your participation in the mentoring program. In the certificate for your mentee, the acquired modules are being listed, which you can complement with a personal comment on your mentoring experience. This document will be helpful for your mentee’s future applications.
